Tidak akan ada yang dapat menikmatinya, tidak akan memberi nutrisi yang baik dan tidak membawa sukacita. Bukankah hal itu nampak kurang menyenangkan?
Tahukah anda bahwa manusia dapat juga menjadi seperti itu? Ya, benar! Yesus memanggil kita semua untuk menjadi penuai buah! Perhatikan, jika seseorang tidak pernah mendengar kabar baik mengenai Yesus, dan mereka tidak pernah mengalami kasih Yesus, mereka tidak bisa menjadi berkat bagi orang lain ataupun diberkati melalui iman. Tanpa kasih dan tanpa Injil, orang-orang cenderung menjadi “busuk” dalam hati mereka, dan mereka kehilangan kesempatan-kesempatan yang indah dan menakjubkan. Jadi pekerjaan kita adalah untuk menyampaikan kabar baik. Kita dipanggil untuk melayani umat kepunyaan Allah.
Yesus mengatakan kepada murid-murid bahwa “tuaian” sudah siap: Maksud-Nya adalah banyak orang yang butuh mendengarkan kisah indah tentang Juruselamat. Ini bukanlah hal yang kurang benar saat ini. Ketika seseorang melewatkan kesempatan akan kasih Tuhan atau tidak mendengar tentang Injil, kecenderungan mereka akan menjadi asam, dan bisa melakukan hal-hal yang tidak seharusnya mereka lakukan. Yesus pun dahulu ada diposisi kita ketika didunia, membagikan kasih-Nya. Dia mau agar kita mengenali setiap kesempatan-kesempatan untuk melayani satu dengan yang lain. Ada begitu banyak orang yang butuh mendengarkan kabar baik ini, dan kita harus menyampaikannya! Bukankah hal ini luar biasa? Dan kita dapat mengatakan SEMUA tentang kasih Tuhan.
Kabar baik mengenai Yesus bukan hanya untuk mereka yang mencari keyakinan tertentu, atau yang memperlakukan kita dengan baik… kita perlu pastikan bahwa kita mencari cara atau jalan dimana semua orang dapat diberitahukan, ditolong dan “dipanen” untuk pelayanan. Tentunya kita tidak mau meninggalkan seseorang menjadi “busuk” di ranting, namun kita mencari untuk membawa mereka semua di dalam keluarga Allah. Kenapa kita tidak menyadari bahwa kesempatan itu adalah sekarang, dengan doa dan ucapan syukur.
