[AkhirZaman.org] Kelompok militan ISIS merilis video anggota polisi syariat mereka tengah membakar ratusan buku dan Injil. Dalam video itu terlihat beberapa kardus berisi tulisan, pamflet, dan Injil yang dikumpulkan dari beberapa sekolah serta gereja dilempar ke dalam bara api.
ISIS yakin buku-buku tersebut adalah buku-buku kafir sehingga wajib dienyahkan agar tidak melanggar hukum-hukum Islam. Video pembakaran tersebut berlokasi di Mosul, Irak di mana terjadi eksodus umat Kristiani setelah ISIS mengambil alih wilayah tersebut pada Juni 2014.
“ISIS membakar ratusan buku umat Kristiani di Mosul setelah mengumpulkannya dari sekolah-sekolah dan gereja-gereja di sana. Mereka juga mengumpulkan buku rohani dari distrik Dawassa dan membakarnya di depan umum,” tutur aktivis setempat Abdullah al Mulla, dikutip Mirror, Selasa (15/3/2016).
Video tersebut diunggah ke media-media sosial dan dilihat oleh pengungsi asal Irak di Jerman. Salah seorang penganut Kristen asal Irak mengatakan dia berharap dirinya berada di Irak saat ini. Namun, dia tidak akan bisa kembali ke daerah asalnya dan hidup dengan ISIS berkeliaran di seantero Irak.
“Kami melarikan diri dari Mosul pada Agustus 2014. Saat itu terjadi perang antara ISIS dengan Peshmerga. Sangat sulit tetap tinggal di sana sebagai penganut Kristen,” ujar seseorang yang tidak diketahui namanya itu.
