China Sebut AS Pembuat Onar di Laut Cina Selatan

[AkhirZaman.org] Surat kabar China menyebut Amerika Serikat sebagai pembuat masalah di Laut China Selatan, Senin (22/1). Pernyataan itu menanggapi operasi kebebasan navigasi yang digelar Amerika Serikat pekan lalu.

Kementerian Luar Negeri China mengatakan kapal perusak AS USS Hopper berlayar sekitar 12 mil laut di Pulau Huangyan, yang Karang Scarborough, yang juga diperebutkan Filipina.

Operasi itu digelar di tengah upaya Presiden AS Donald Trump berusaha merangkul China untuk mengatasi masalah rudal dan program nuklir Korea Utara.

Surat kabar Partai Komunis China, People’s Daily, dalam kolom komentar menyatakan di tengah membaiknya situasi di Laut China Selatan, jelas bahwa Amerika Serikat adalah satu-satunya negara yang melakukan militerisasi di kawasan.

“Bertentangan dengan latar belakang perdamaian dan kerja sama, sebuah kapal AS dengan nakal memprovokasi masalah hingga sampai pada tingkat kecerobohan,” tulis surat kabar tersebut, Senin (22/1).

“Jika pihak terkait sekali lagi membuat masalah dan menyebabkan peningkatan ketegangan, maka hal itu hanya akan membuat China lebih bersungguh-sungguh lagi melindungi perdamaian di Laut China Selatan. China akan memperkuat dan mempercepat pembangunan kemampuannya di sana,” tulis surat kabar tersebut.

Kolom komentar itu dipublikasikan di bawah nama penulis “Zhong Sheng” atau artinya “Suara China”, yang kerap digunakan untuk mengungkapkan pandangan surat kabar tersebut soal kebijakan-kebijakan luar negeri.

Karang atau beting atau gosong Scarborough terletak dalam rentang 200 mil laut Zona Ekonomi Eksklusif Filipina. “Namun keputusan pengadilan internasional pada 2016 memutuskan bahwa kawan tersebut adalah lahan penangkapan ikan tradisional dimana tidak ada negara yang memiliki satu-satunya hak untuk mengeksploitasi wilayah tersebut,” tulis Reuters, Senin (22/1).

Militer AS menyatakan bahwa pihaknya menggelar operasi kebebasan navigasi di seluruh dunia, termasuk wilayah-wilayah yang diklaim sekutu-sekutuya. Hal itu terpisah dari pertimbangan politik. Filipina adalah salah satu sekutu Amerika Serikat.

China mereklamasi sejumlah pulau karang di Laut China Selatan. Seperti Fiery Cross, Mischief, dan Subi di Kepulauan Spratly. Amerika Serikat menyebut China telah membangun fasilitas militer di pulau-pulau buatan tersebut. Klaim itu dibantah China.

Wilayah kekuasaan suatu negara, selalu menjadi point terhangat pada teritorial mereka. Khususnya wilayah ada di laut China selatan dalam hal ini Beijing dan Vietnam, mengklaim sebagai wilayah mereka. Atau beberapa yang ada di dekat wilayah itu.

Maka dalam hal Amerika juga sudah melihat langkah-langkah cepat yang diambil oleh Beijing pada wilayah sengketa ini.
