[AkhirZaman.org] Kelompok ISIS pada Selasa (26/3/2019) mengklaim telah menyerang tentara Pasukan Demokratik Suriah ( SDF) di kota Manbij, Suriah. Serangan tersebut menewaskan 7 tentara yang didukung AS tersebut, beberapa hari setelah ISIS dinyatakan kalah. Diwartakan kantor berita AFP, Manbij merupakan bekas kekuasaan kelompok ekstremis itu yang kini dikuasai SDF.
Insiden serangan terhadap tentara SDF terjadi pada Senin (25/3/2019) menjelang tengah malam waktu setempat. Sejumlah pria bersenjata menyerang tentara pos pemeriksaan di pintu masuk kota dan menewaskan 7 orang. Sehari kemudian, ISIS mengklaim bertanggung jawab atas serangan tersebut. “Pasukan kekhalifahan telah menyerang pos pemeriksaan kota Manbij barat semalam,” demikian pernyataan ISIS. Juru bicara Dewan Militer Manbij, Sherfan Darwsih, meyakini serbuan itu sebagai aksi balas dendam. “Setelah kejayaan ISIS berakhir, kami telah memasuki fase sel tidur,” ucapnya. “Sel-sel tidur ini sedang diaktifkan dan melakukan serangan, tapi kami menggagalkan operasi mereka,” imbuhnya. Kepala Pemantau Hak Asasi Manusia Suriah (SOHR) Andel Rahman menyatakan, serangan itu merupakan yang paling berdarah di Manbij sejak 16 Januari lalu. Saat itu, sebanyak 19 orang – termasuk empat personel tewas dalam aksi bom bunuh diri yang diklaim oleh ISIS.
Dia meyakini, ratusan anggota SDF telah terbunuh dalam serangan yang diyakini telah dilakukan oleh sel-sel tidur ISIS sejak Agustus 2018. Seperti diketahui, ISIS berjanji untuk melakukan serangan balas dendam terhadap SDF usai kekalahan di desa Baghouz, dekat dengan perbatasan Irak, pada Sabtu lalu.

Walaupun sudah di nyatakan kalah masih tetap membekas serangan-serangan yang mematikan, aksi ini diduga adalah aksi balas dendam. Banyak fakta sejarah yang mencatat karena aksi balas dendam akhirnya berujung merenggut nyawa sesama, aksi-aksi seperti ini pun di tulis dalam sejarah Alkitab ”ketika diberitahukan perkataan Esau, anak sulungnya itu kepada Ribka, maka di suruhnyalah memanggil Yakub, anak bungsunya lalu berkata kepadanya: Esau kakakmu, bermaksud membalas dendam membunuh engkau”. Kejadian 27:42.
Apa yang Alkitab ajarkan tentang balas dendam? Janganlah engkau menuntut balas, dan janganlah menaruh dendam terhadap orang-orang sebangsamu, melainkan kasihilah sesamamu manusia seperti dirimu sendiri”. Imamat 19:18.
Mungkin ayat ini bertentangan dengan apa yang kita tau selama ini, tapi jika di hati kita yang ada hanyalah aksi balas dendam maka kita hanya akan memperkeruh suasana, tapi jika kita menuruti apa yang Firman Tuhan katakan maka hidup kita akan penuh dengan kedamaian.
