[AkhirZaman.org] Paus Fransiskus mengutuk konflik di Suriah, Yaman, dan Libya, menyerukan diakhirinya “bentrokan senjata” dalam pesan Paskahnya. Dalam pidatonya, Francis mengatakan itu memalukan bahwa “konflik bersenjata belum berakhir dan persenjataan militer sedang diperkuat.”

Setan bekerja menampilkan Allah sebagai yang tidak mempunyai kasih dan kelembutan, mengacaukan kebenaran mengenai Allah, dengan mengisi pikiran manusia dengan pikiran-pikiran palsu mengenai Allah, sehingga gantinya manusia tinggal di dalam kebenaran Tuhan yang di Surga, namun sebaliknya manusia sering meletakkan pikiran mereka di atas tafsiran-tafsiran yang salah yang diberikan Setan itu, sehingga menghina Allah dengan jalan kurang percaya dan bersungut-sungut melawan Tuhan.

Setan selalu berusaha membuat kehidupan beragama itu satu kemuraman, ia ingin memperlihatkan bahwa kehidupan beragama itu sukar dan sulit, dan apabila orang Kristen menampilkan hal yang demikian di dalam kehidupan beragama mereka sendiri, maka dia, melalui kekurang-percayaannya, telah menunjukkan sokongannya kepada kepalsuan Setan itu. 

“Sebab tidak ada seorangpun di antara kita yang hidup untuk dirinya sendiri, dan tidak ada seorangpun yang mati untuk dirinya sendiri. Sebab jika kita hidup, kita hidup untuk Tuhan, dan jika kita mati, kita mati untuk Tuhan. Jadi baik hidup atau mati, kita adalah milik Tuhan.” (Roma 14:7,8)
