Lalu, bagaimana kalau Injil didiscount biar orang yang datang mendengarkannya juga ramai membludak? Ada banyak kesamaan antara menawarkan (bukan menjual) sesuatu dengan memberitakan Injil. Tetapi jelas ada banyak perbedaan yang sangat prinsipil dalam menjual sesuatu dengan memberitakan Injil. Banyak orang Kristen yang bergelut di dunia bisnis tidak mencoba merenungkan persamaan dan perbedaannya sehingga sebagian dengan tanpa pertimbangan menerapkan sistem berbisnis dalam pemberitaan Injil. Padahal jelas persamaannya lebih sedikit daripada perbedaannya.
Selanjutnya marilah kita membahas persamaan dan perbedaan antara berbisnis dengan memberitakan Injil.
1. Menawarkan Bukan Memaksa.
Persamaan antara penjual dengan pemberita Injil ialah kedua-duanya adalah sebuah pekerjaan yang bersifat menawarkan sesuatu. Penjual yang baik sebagaimana pemberita Injil berusaha hanya sampai pada batas menawarkan bukan memaksa orang membeli atau menerima tawarannya. Kekristenan yang alkitabiah tidak memaksa orang menerima Injil, bahkan tidak setuju dengan Kristen keturunan. Semua orang yang mau menjadi Kristen harus melalui keputusan kesadarannya.
Anak orang Kristen diajar pada waktu kecil dan setelah ia akil balik, ia tetap harus ditawarkan Injil untuk diputuskannya sendiri.
2. Menawarkan Sesuatu Yang Dibutuhkan
Walau sesederhana apapun barang yang diperdagangkan, penjualnya melakukan itu karena ia yakin barangnya dibutuhkan atau berguna. Lebih lagi Injil yang disampaikan oleh seorang pemberita Injil. Ia harus yakin bahwa Injil yang diberitakannya itu sangat dibutuhkan pendengarnya. Selanjutnya tentu ada perbedaan yang sangat besar antara berbisnis dengan memberitakan Injil.
1. Satu Mencari Keuntungan & Satu Memberi Dengan Cuma-cuma
Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa semua bisnis bermotivasi mencari keuntungan. Sekalipun sudah dijual dengan harga obral, toh masih dipikirkan segi untung-ruginya. Setidaknya pemilik akan memakai falsafah lebih baik rugi sedikit daripada harus rugi banyak. Tetapi pemberitaan Injil bukan dimotivasi oleh keuntungan materi. Yang dipikirkan oleh pemberita Injil ialah jiwa yang bisa diselamatkannya.
Untuk itu tidak boleh melihat faktor untung-rugi secara materi didalam pemberitaan Injil ke sebuah daerah, atau memulai sebuah jemaat di suatu lokasi. Usaha pemberitaan Injil itu pasti rugi secara materi bahkan bisa kehilangan nyawa. Oleh sebab itu sikap alkitabiah di dalam mendirikan jemaat itu bukan berlomba mendirikan jemaat yang lebih besar, dan dana gereja mana yang lebih banyak dan lain sebagainya yang materialistis.
2. Satu Bersifat Materi & Satu Rohani
Pusat orientasi bisnis ialah meraup keuntungan materi sebanyak-banyaknya. Sedangkan pusat orientasi penginjilan ialah menyelamatkan orang dari Neraka sebanyakbanyaknya. Di mata seorang pelaku bisnis hanya ada uang, dan mengukur segala sesuatu dengan jumlah materi. Menempatkan posisi kehormatan seseorang dari level kekayaannya. Sering kita mendengar orang berkata, “orang-orang di situ bukan level dia,” maksudnya tingkat kekayaan mereka jauh berbeda.
Sementara itu di mata seorang pemberita Injil itu hanya ada jiwa yang akan terhilang dan yang telah diselamatkan. Dan nilai jiwa itu jauh sekali di atas materi. Seorang pemberita Injil memang masih memerlukan materi tetapi bukan seorang yang terpengaruh oleh materi apalagi tergantung pada materi.
Kesimpulan kita ialah bahwa ada perbedaan yang besar antara berbisnis dengan memberitakan Injil. Oleh sebab itu tidak dapat dibenarkan untuk menerapkan metode, falsafah berbisnis ke dalam tindakan pemberitaan Injil. Kalau untuk menghabiskan stock pebisnis mengobral dagangannya dengan discount besar-besaran, Injil tidak boleh diperlakukan demikian. Nilai Injil atau substansi Injil itu tidak boleh dikurangi sedikitpun.
Yesus Kristus adalah satu-satunya Juruselamat, tidak bisa didiscount menjadi salah satu. Di bawah kolong langit ini tidak ada nama lain yang melaluinya kita bisa diselamatkan. Dari Adam hingga manusia terakhir kalau mau masuk Sorga ia harus percaya kepada Yesus. Mengapa?
Yesus menanggung dosa isi dunia (Yoh.1:29, I Yoh.2:2, Ibr.2:9), itu jangan didiscount menjadi hanya menanggung dosa orang pilihan saja. Karena dosa seisi dunia telah ditanggung, maka siapapun yang percaya kepada Yesus, semua dosanya akan diperhitungkan Allah telah tertanggung (I Tim.4:10, Rom.8:1). Yang tidak percaya itu diperhitungkan sebagai yang tidak menerima tawaran anugerah dari Allah. Pokoknya Injil tidak boleh didiscount seperti pakaian dll.
Juga tidak boleh ditambah harganya dengan perbuatan baik, baptisan, kerajinan ibadah dan lain sebagainya. Tindakan itu sama dengan perbuatan korupsi karena harganya dari Tuhan sudah ditetapkan. Perbuatan baik, baptisan, kerajinan beribadah itu dilakukan sesudah seseorang diselamatkan bukan untuk diselamatkan. Kalau barang dagangan di Supermarket didiscount itu akan menguntungkan pembeli.
Tetapi kalau Injil didiscount, maka penerimanya akan masuk ke Neraka. Oleh sebab itu pembaca, tolong periksa Injil yang telah anda terima, apakah harga sesuai dengan ketetapan Tuhan. Saya sangat kuatir, jangan-jangan didiscount atau dinaikkan harganya oleh salesmen gadungan yang tidak terdaftar di buku induk Tuhan.
